Changing Course 2019 is an initiative by Eco-Business and EB Impact that raises awareness on the need to urgently respond to our climate crisis and inspires action to address it.
It explores humanity’s relationship with our Planet, outlines the challenges in our current global patterns of consumption and production, and provokes answers to this one central question: How can we change the course of humanity?
The initiative will feature a carbon neutral, zero waste multimedia exhibition held at the ArtScience Museum from 4 October to 3 November 2019, which is free for the public. The exhibition is organised in support of Singapore’s Year Towards Zero Waste and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
You are officially invited to join us at a special event to celebrate the opening of this exhibition with a wide spectrum of leaders from business, government and civil society.
We will start the opening with a high-powered dialogue focused on business action around climate change, followed by an interactive Q&A and a special preview of the Changing Course 2019 exhibition and the ArtScience Museum Climate S.O.S – Season of Sustainability.
This is followed by the official opening event featuring the global premiere of Arctic Awakening and a dinner and drinks reception.
Join this journey from Asia to the Arctic and back as we speak to scientists, experts, business leaders, policymakers and everyone in between to tell the biggest story of our time.

From raging wildfires to severe drought and flooding, climate change is being felt in varying degrees across the globe and re-defining how we interact with the natural world. Business, with its outsized impact on our ecosystems, has been a major driver of development and contributor to greenhouse gas emissions. Can businesses today go beyond greenwash to truly change their course and be part of the solution?
This dialogue will feature four business, government and civil society leaders who will have a robust discussion on what large-scale measures are necessary to respond to our climate crisis, how to achieve them, and present analyses of failures and successes we can all learn from.
