The Liveability Challenge 2024
The Liveability Challenge (TLC) is back and on the hunt for ground-breaking innovations across the world that enables large-scale decarbonisation, climate adaptation and resilience, as well as efficient and circular food systems. This year, TLC received a record-breaking 1,000 entries from more than 100 countries for our two tracks: climate change, and food and nutrition. We are excited to present our grand finalists, who will pitch to the region’s most established investors to win funding of S$2.5 million at the Grand Finale. TLC will award a grant prize of up to S$1million for the winner in each track, and an additional $500,000 investment prizes will be awarded by our strategic partners. Join us for the sustainability innovation showdown of the year at The Liveability Challenge 2024 Grand Finale hosted at Ecosperity Week at Marina Bay Sands.

Cities: Possibilities 2023
Cities are at the heart of climate action, generating more than 60 per cent of global greenhouse gas emissions. By deploying low-carbon measures, cities could reduce greenhouse gas emissions from urban buildings, materials, transport and waste by nearly 90 per cent by 2050. These measures would have a net present value of US$23.9 trillion – greater than United States economy, according to the Coalition for Urban Transitions.
