J.D. Kasamoto is the General Manager of the Service and Environment Division at Ricoh AsiaPacific, overseeing the company’s environmental efforts across 9 countries in the region. Mr. Kasamoto joined Ricoh in 1991 and was responsible for new product service launches and technical support for Ricoh's core products.Between 1998 to 2008, he was posted to Europe, where he managed business development.

Prior to joining Ricoh in 2014, he had a stint in Ricoh’s head office in Japan, where he led strategy in the area of production printing. He spearheaded several service-related projects including the establishment of a "UsedParts Recycling System", which was eventually adopted throughout theAmericas and European countries.
