Head of Sustainability, Deputy General Manager of Sustainable Urban Renewal, Keppel Land
Ar. Tan Szue Hann is an Architect and sustainability development professional. He is Head of Sustainability and Deputy General Manager of Sustainable Urban Renewal at Keppel Land. Besides his role at Keppel Land, he is also Co-Founder of sustainability innovation think tank IxSA, Chairman of Sustainability at the Singapore Institute of Architects, an adjunct lecturer at the Building Construction and Authority (BCA) Academy, and a World Cities Summit Young Leader.
Szue Hann was also Singapore’s 2015-16 Young Green Architect of the Year, and a Minister's Award recipient (2017). In 2017, he was inducted into Generation T, a group of influencers below the age of 40, and one of Cartier’s 5 Bright Sparks, by Singapore Tatler. In 2019, he was listed as one of Prestige Magazine's 40 Under 40.
Szue Hann's portfolio of work includes the award-winning ParkRoyal on Pickering, the SPACE Asia Hub and the O&M HQ with WOHA; the BCA SkyLab, a state-of-the-art rotatable test bed for building technologies, which won a Minister’s Award on National Day, 2017; an IT campus in Bangalore, and a smart city master plan in Bangkok, while he was heading Sustainability at Surbana Jurong.
Szue Hann’s skills are in planning, management, design thinking, and translating design into good real estate value. He believes many of the world's problems can be solved through sustainability consciousness and design.
