Tami is The Biodiversity Consultancy's Technical Director for Nature Strategy. Her 10 years’ experience covers working with businesses and financial institutions from advising development projects across high materiality sectors to corporate and investment strategies on nature.
She works with global and regional companies with complex supply chain on setting targets and strategy for biodiversity and nature with a focus area on transformative actions. She has been leading TBC’s work in Impact and natural capital investing, where she focuses on investment advisory for high-integrity nature-based solutions and landscape programme portfolios particularly on the use of metrics for measuring net positive impacts on nature.
Beyond the investment process and use of metrics, her extensive experience includes corporate science-based target setting and biodiversity safeguards implementation across the energy, agribusiness, fashion, and mining real assets and supply chain in South-east Asia and East Africa, both of which continue to strengthen her work with businesses and financial institutions on nature-related risk and opportunities management. Her experience includes operationalization of no deforestation and no conversion policies, and application of disclosure frameworks, as well as international lenders safeguards on biodiversity.
