Sam Manlosa, Jr. is the Chief Sustainability Officer of Holcim Philippines. Prior to his appointment in March 2024, Mr. Manlosa headed the company’s waste management unit Geocycle. Under his leadership, Geocycle further expanded Holcim Philippines’ network of local government and industrial partners to accelerate decarbonization and circularity of operations and strengthen support in sustainably managing the country’s wastes.

Mr. Manlosa led Holcim Philippines’ Davao plant from January 2020 to 2023. He also held various regional roles focused on industrial excellence for the Holcim Group in his more than a decade in the company.

Mr. Manlosa placed seventh in the 2004 chemical engineering board examinations and graduated cum laude from the Mindanao State University in Marawi City.
