She is also the Asia co-lead for Microsoft’s sustainability chapter, which advocates reducing humanity’s carbon impact, understanding and managing Earth’s ecosystems, advancing zero-carbon energy, and enhancing economic opportunities.
Prior to Microsoft, Lorena was at EY Advisory Services, helping businesses understand their risk impact.
She has more than 20 years of cross industry experience in corporate advisory, management consulting, business transformation and sustainability across multiple geographies including UK, Europe, and Asia. She has worked with C-suite, Boards of companies and innovation start-ups, to design and deliver strategic transformation projects that help them grow. It was during this time she realized that businesses, governments, and communities should collaborate to protect our world for future generations.
Lorena created an award-winning Environmental Social Governance sustainability methodology while running her own consultancy, which established how businesses can use sustainability to drive transformation, productivity and efficiency whilst also building visibility across the business value chain.
She is the Chairperson of the British Chamber of Commerce (BritCham) Sustainability Committee. She also sits on the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) International Advisory Board and is focused on Environmental Social Governance (ESG). Lorena has a master’s degree in business, has co-authored business texts on sustainability transformation and is a regular speaker on the topics of sustainability partnering, advocacy and helping businesses reduce their own environmental footprints.
