Tabitha is a sustainability, biodiversity and environmental management professional with over 15years of experience globally. Her expertise is in sustainability and environmental management andconsulting, risk assessment and due diligence. She has worked for corporates, financial institutions,environmental consultancies, NGOs, government agencies, universities and other research institutes,all of which have required the engagement of diverse stakeholders including local communities, thepublic and private sectors. Tabitha started her career as a researcher in ecology and climate changemitigation, and then as a conservation manager with the National Parks Board. She continued to workin a diverse range of habitats globally, focusing more on Southeast Asian environments in recent yearsas she feels this is where conservation efforts are most needed, but where knowledge and expertiseare most lacking. Her first foray into carbon project development was in 2016, when she was theproject lead in a REDD+ project in Malaysia. She views sustainable and blended finance instruments asmechanisms to valuate and drive investment towards assets and initiatives which can deliverecosystem services and fight climate change.
