He also served as Vice President of Public Affairs at UPS Asia, and as Deputy General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Transportation under President Clinton, where he was involved in foundational work on U.S.-Asia trade and investment policy. Beyond APAC Advisors, Steven serves as Senior Advisor to the Global Private Capital Association (GPCA), and Head of External Affairs for the American Association of the Indo-Pacific (AAIP).
