Founder, Massive Fund
Shailesh Vickram Singh is the Founder of ClimateAngels/ Gomassive - a sustainability focussed investment network which is investing in companies solving Pollution/Waste issues. He is also a trustee of Massive Earth Foundation - a non-profit which is running accelerator Low Carbon earth for UNEP and also setting up a process to capture 9000 tons of plastic from leaking to water bodies. Prior to starting Massive, Shailesh was an executive director with Seed Fund ($54 mn fund), an early-stage marquee VC fund in India. Before SeedFund, Shailesh was MD of a PE Fund ($170 mn). He has over 20 years of experience in Entrepreneurship / Venture investing.
Shailesh is a regular speaker and has written extensively on Agriculture, Farmer income, Economics, Venture capital and entrepreneurship. He has been a speaker at various Industry forums/panels. Some of the notable ones are Financial Times Investing for Good, Hong Kong, UN regional Climate summit- Bangkok, SWITCH Asia Clear Air Summit Bangkok, ANDE Summit (Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs), United Nations Environment Assembly, Nairobi, UNEP High-level Dialogue series, Delhi, multiple events at Assocham, CII conferences, and at leading Institutes in India (IIT Delhi, IIM Lucknow, IIT Kharagpur among others). He has done his MBA from IIM Lucknow and B.Tech from GB Pant Univ.
