Prior to joining the firm, Sang Shin was based in Silicon Valley and co-founded BeenChoice, the first app that let users own the value of their data, taking it back from data collectors and advertisers.

Sang moved to Singapore in 2016, drawing upon his deep knowledge in technology, environmental science, and entrepreneurship to help build the startup ecosystem here in Southeast Asia.
