Nichol Ng was first elected President of ONE (SINGAPORE) at the January 2014 Annual General Meeting. She’s the fifth person to hold this position since ONE (SINGAPORE) was founded in 2005. Nichol joined ONE (SINGAPORE)’s Executive Committee in 2011 and served as the society’s Treasurer.  She also chaired the committee that organised ONE (SINGAPORE)’s inaugural gala, The ONE Ball 2012.

Since 2007, Nichol Ng has been the Managing Director of FoodXervices Inc, a family business that she has successfully modernised and re-branded as a market leader in the food service industry.  Nichol also runs FoodXervices’ sister companies GroXers Inc, LogiXtics LLP and PlotX Inc and she was instrumental in creating and launching KooriMo, a chestnut-based premium ice cream.

Nichol’s passion for food has sparked a number of initiatives.  She is the co-founder of Singapore’s first and only food bank, The Food Bank Singapore and a founding member of Support for Eating Disorders Singapore.  Under her leadership, FoodXervices Inc has launched two annual food events with ONE (SINGAPORE) to assist our neighbours-in-need:  Every ONE Can and the ONE Food Drive.

Nichol has been featured in Singapore Women’s Weekly as a nominee for the Great Women of Our Time in the year 2013.  She is also a recipient of the Spirit of Enterprise Award 2010, given to entrepreneurs who have shown resilience and tenacity in building businesses.
