Kao Jing is one of the beneficiaries of the inaugural ComfortDelGro-EB Impact Sustainability Education Grant. He is currently a second year student of Environmental Science at the National University of Singapore.

He has a passion for marine conservation and has dedicated his time to exploring and contributing to ocean research. Aside from being selected to be a OceanX Young Explorer, he also interned at Seven Clean Seas, Wildlife Conservation Society and is a Stridy ambassador. Kao Jing also co-founded the social enterprise Jalan Journey, as the Head of product, where he curates virtual learning journeys that offer interactive and gamified experiences, providing insights into the lives and challenges faced by marginalised communities such as the homeless in Singapore.
