Murugan Anantharaman’s currently with HCLTech as  Data & AI Practice Director and part of the APAC team. He comes with over 25 years of global experience having worked in organizations like Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Unisys, Larsen & Toubro Infotech, Teradata and KPIT Cummins across various geographies in North America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia covering areas of Analytics, Data Management, Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence.

His expertise in Technology, Business, Pre-Sales and Development has enabled him to provide effective and efficient risk mitigation and revenue generation solutions to many organizations around the world. He has led multiple programs and has enabled topline revenue generation up to $150m and helping customers realize cost savings by up to 40%. His background includes industry experience in Banking & Insurance, Oil & Gas, Retail, Travel & Transportation, Media & Entertainment, Energy & Utilities to name a few.

With the client's business objectives in mind, Murugan has conceptualized, designed, and developed Data & Analytics solutions using Big Data platforms and Data Visualization; Advanced Analytics solutions involving Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and IoT.

Prior to HCLTech, he was with Unisys as the Analytics Principal based out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia servicing customers in the ASEAN region. He is a hands on team player and a coach and mentor to SMEs in the Data Analytics space.
