Abhijit has extensive experience in conducting a wide range of investigative assignments, including fraud, business intelligence, due diligence, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations for a host of multinational and domestic Indian firms. He has led large multi-jurisdictional investigations involving complex issues. He has also extensively advised Sovereign funds and other major financial institutions on matters of business integrity, ethics, and other fraud-related issues.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Yadav headed the forensic practice for a risk mitigation firm in India, with a remit to lead and grow the compliance, forensics, business intelligence, and investigations practice in the region. He also previously worked at a global consultancy firm, where he played a crucial role in not only setting up its India operations, but also leading its business intelligence and investigative effort in the region.

Prior to joining the corporate sector, Mr. Yadav spent 13 years as an officer in the Indian Navy, most recently serving as Deputy Director–Signal Intelligence. In this role, he headed classified intelligence operations and covert deployments in a tri-service organization. He was handpicked to serve on frontline warships and was deputed for crucial antipiracy operations in the Gulf of Aden, wherein he was instrumental in averting hijack and hostage situations.

Mr. Yadav is an alumnus of India’s National Defence Academy. He is proficient in English and native in Indian languages, Hindi and Marathi.
