Michael started his career in TOMRA back in 1994, right after graduating from his engineer and industrial engineer studies. Michael was working in several positions in Germany and Norway before joining the international Business Development Team in Asker. Since 2017 he is part of the Governmental Affairs team.  Michael has brought experiences in deposit schemes worldwide and was heavily involved in TOMRA’s preparation for the Germany deposit implementation and consults and supports various governments and legislators in their efforts to either implement new or further improve existing deposit systems into state-of-the-art schemes.

From July 2016 to June 2017 he was part of the deposit preparation team in New South Wales/Australia. Michael is living in Germany; he is married and has 2 daughters and 1 son.
