Mr. Macky de Lima joined First Balfour in September 2001 as the Head of Treasury and was later on appointed as the Head of Strategic Business Planning in January 2011. He is also designated as the Head of Corporate Communications in a concurrent capacity. His earlier career included roles at the Multinational Investment Bancorporation and Phelps Dodge Philippines. Macky graduated with a degree in Business Management from the Ateneo de Manila University and a Masters Degree in Applied Business Economics from the Center of Research and Communications. He recently completed 3 Executive Courses under the Applied Sustainability Management in Asia-Pacific (ASMAP) Program of the UA&P this year.

In August 2022, First Balfour established a Technical Working Group (TWG) for corporate sustainability initiatives, led by Macky within the Strategic Business Planning Department. The TWG, composed of members from various divisions and departments, focuses on streamlining sustainability reporting, analyzing ESG data, and leading mission-related activities.
