Under the Philstar Media umbrella, LDT pushes The Star's integration strategies and transform its brand of content creation through its various multimedia platforms, thus generating a seamless content ecosystem.
Dy Tioco recently unveiled Philstar 3.0, which futher expands its content ecosystem and multimedia services capability. Leading this is a comprehensive lifestyle website PhilstarLife, together with niche audience sites Latest Chika, WheelsPH and Property Report PH. Multiverse.ph is the latest website launched in March 2023, entering into the web 3.0 space. He also invigorated his creative services team with an integrated branded content service under Philstar Studio. The content house has since produced branded video services, tv shows, live and online events and livestream coverages.
LDT's recent initiatives include a recently-launched advocacy program called Nakakalokal, which supports MSMEs across all its platforms; and soon to be unveiled subscription services, PhilstarGO and BWorldX.
Lucien Dy Tioco is a 2016 Agora Awardee for outstanding achievement in Marketing Communications, for pushing the envelope for print media to thrive well in the changed media landscape. LDT is also a CEO Excel awardee for 2016 in communication excellence and was awarded at the same time by his alma mater, the University of Santo Tomas as an Outstanding Thomasian Alumni (TOTAL) awardee in the field of media.
Dy Tioco served as President of the Philippine Marketing Association in 2020-21.
