Lin Kuek

Managing Director, Singapore; Head of Sustainability Communications, ASEAN, Vero

With over 15 years of Integrated Communications experience in Asia, Lin is a proficient strategic communications consultant, with a strong focus on sustainability communications. She leads the Vero team in Singapore, as well as the firm’s sustainability communications offerings in the region.

Lin has extensive experience in numerous industries across the communications and business strategy functions, working with brands and businesses as they navigate our complex reality. She has delivered successful multi-year client relationships, and international campaigns, for brands and organisations across the region.

A seasoned storyteller, Lin has worked with a variety of orgnisations and executives in developing compelling narratives and messaging, helping them connect with stakeholders and audiences alike. She is also an accomplished media trainer, who has worked with top executives as they develop their personal styles when managing media and during public speaking opportunities, especially in the sustainability space.

Previously, Lin was a Senior Vice President at Weber Shandwick in Singapore where she built the sustainability practice and worked with a variety of business in developing sustainability communications strategies and executing them. She had also spent 4 years in the office in Shanghai working with international brands entering the China market, helping to contextualize international brands for the local market – across publicity, risk and crisis management, as well as media relations.

Prior to this, she was with Hill & Knowlton’s public affairs practice, working on a variety of clients across energy, palm oil, aviation, maritime security, urban development, water resources and waste management.

A certified scuba divemaster, Lin is extremely passionate about the ocean, which sparked to her foray into the world of sustainability.
