Kim-See Lim is the International Finance Corporation’s Regional Director for East Asia and the Pacific (EAP), leading investment and advisory operations across 18 countries and overseeing IFC’s strategy in the region. IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, is the largest multilateral private-sector investor in emerging markets. Ms. Lim, a global investment professional with 26 years of experience, has led teams in the execution and management of debt and equity investments across Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and Latin America. Sustainability is always at the core of her investment thesis and strategy. Ms. Lim’s global career in development finance has taken her to more than 30 countries, including frontier markets such as Belarus, Democratic Republic of Congo, Dominican Republic, Kenya, Mozambique, Myanmar, and Rwanda, among many others.
