At Mandai Nature, Kavita Prakash-Mani works with partners to drive nature-based solutions for climate change, focusing on green and blue carbon including protecting and restoring tropical forests, mangroves and peatlands, while also providing habitats for wildlife and critical ecosystem services.

Kavita was most recently the Global Conservation Director at WWF responsible for the WWF Practices, delivering the WWF conservation goals to protect and restore habitats, protect species, and tackle climate change. This involves harnessing markets and the financial sector and engaging communities.

She is developing a collaborative platform on nature-based solutions for climate and other ecosystem services together with NGOs in Asia to meet the growing demand from companies and public sector. Previously, Kavita was Practice Leader for Markets at WWF, Executive Director of Grow Asia in Singapore, the Global Head, Food Security Agenda at Syngenta International, and Executive Director, SustainAbility in London.
