Jiro has nearly 30 years of international development expertise in infrastructure, electronic government, judiciary reform, evaluation, and development results.

Since September 2021, he has overseen ADB's Indonesia strategy, operations, and relationships as Country Director. He was Director of the SPD's Strategy, Policy, and Business Processes Division and Principal Evaluation Specialist in the Independent Evaluation Department before his current assignment.

He oversaw several significant reviews of development successes and promoted creative use of ICT for development at the World Bank before joining ADB in 2015.

Jiro holds a Master's in Economics from the London School of Economics in the UK.
