H.E. Eivind S. Homme is Norway’sAmbassador-Designate to Singapore. He will begin his post in September2021.  

A career diplomat,Ambassador-Designate Mr Homme has been with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,Norway, since 1984.

Ambassador Homme is Head of theInternational Department of the Norwegian Parliament until end August2021.  Prior to this, he was SpecialAdvisor and ASEM Senior Official, and Special Advisor on Global Health, for theMinistry of Foreign Affairs, Norway. Mr. Homme has served as Ambassador ofNorway to India and Bhutan, as well as to Indonesia, Timor Leste and ASEAN. He has been Deputy Chief of the Norwegian Mission in Beijing, posted to WashingtonD.C, Rome and Manila, and served as navy officer.  

Ambassador Homme is married and has two children.
