Dario Quaranta is a Senior Operations Officer and the Regional Climate Solutions Lead in IFC’s Creating Markets Advisory (CMA) team in EAP.

Since 2018, Dario has been working with the World Bank Group developing the green competitiveness agenda, including circular economy and eco industrial parks (EIPs). Prior to the World Bank Group, Dario worked for over 18 years in the private sector in multiple sectors in international manufacturing and service companies (among others: Ansaldo - Manufacturing of Power Equipment - Italy, Mirant - Power Utility - USA, Solvey - Chemicals - Belgium) in different capacities (Finance Director, General Manager, Marketing and Sales Manager). He also worked at the European Commission as expert evaluator for the EIC Accelerator (SME Instrument) - part of the Horizon 2020 programme - on innovation, green deal and circular economy.

Dario is an Italian qualified engineer, he holds three Master's Degrees: in Chemical Engineering from University of Naples (Italy); in Project Management and Financing from the Polytechnique of Milan (Italy); and in Corporate Finance from Bocconi University (Italy).
