A seasoned media professional turned sustainability entrepreneur in 2012. Christina took her passion in sustainability, empowerment and connecting people and businesses to build an integrated sustainability eco-system by way of supporting UN SDGs.
Global Green Connect provides consulting services to help companies to integrate ESG as business and brand strategies. We also work closely with the next generation through innovation and entrepreneurship, help scale-ups by connecting and empowering them with businesses and capital to generate a triple bottom line. TXG Sustainability Business Accelerator Program was officiated end of 2019 together with an anchor partner, Tsinghua x-lab. The program will focus on helping impact scale-ups to deploy innovative sustainability solutions in Asia.
GGEF is a social enterprise headquartered in Singapore since 2012. GGEF organizes conferences, awards and workshops to promote innovation, sustainability and leadership in business, inspire current and future leaders. We reinvest part of our revenue into youth sustainability programs by working with MEM programme of NUS, E-Gen Challenge of City Development Limited, Tsinghua xlab etc. GGEF has sponsored over hundreds of students to attend GGEF forum, sustainability workshops and 10 outstanding youth to attend international events and expeditions such as 2041 International Antarctic Expedition. GGEF’s vision is to empower the next generation to build a sustainable future through taking care of planet, people and profit.
Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Christina was appointed as Asia Managing Director of the leading global business media, Bloomberg Businessweek (formerly known as BusinessWeek) where she worked for 12 years. Previously, she also held senior positions at Yahoo! Inc., Star Television (News Corporation) and Avenue Magazine New York.
Actively in supporting business and sustainability communities, Christina was the Deputy Chairman of SOPA (The Society of Publishers in Asia) and Chairman of its China Projects Group Sub-Committee. She is currently the advisor of Tsinghua University x-lab, Program committee of Singapore Sustainability Academy (SSA), Asia Ambassador of Women4Green, a Board of Director for Hong Kong Canaan Garden Ministry.
Christina was named one of the Asia’s Top 30 ‘Eco Warriors 2019’ by social media network, Green is the New Black. She was awarded the ‘Achiever Award, Leader in Responsible Corporation Driving Impact’ at the Asia Futurist Leadership Summit 2020.
Christina holds a master’s degree in management from Macquarie University (MGSM), Sydney. An avid sports enthusiast, she was honored to be a torch bearer for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
