Sustainability Exchange Youth Participant
Chevon Low is a community builder and organiser by trade, with over 10 years of experience in bringing people together from all walks of life. As a passionate advocate for the environment, she is a member of the board of directors at People’s Movement to Stop Haze (PM Haze), a non-profit based in Singapore that empowers and educates communities to put a stop to haze pollution and deforestation in Southeast Asia.
She also heads the Sustainability employee resource group at a tech company, where she organises activities for colleagues to get involved in matters relating to climate change and environmental protection. In 2020, Chevon championed the Save Singapore Airlines initiative, a local community-led campaign to raise public awareness on the environmental impact of the airline’s proposed ‘Flights to Nowhere’ initiative. Working with local non-profits, influencers and the media, the campaign generated over 2,000 alternative ideas in lieu of the program. In her spare time, Chevon loves hosting, art jamming and spending time in nature.
