Vice President, Group Sustainability, SingTel & Optus
Andrew is the Vice President for Group Corporate Sustainability at Singtel and Optus, and a Talent Coach to over 180 of the company’s Future and Emerging Leaders since 2013.
Under his leadership, Singtel Group conducted its first climate scenario physical risk and adaptation analysis in 2014 and became the first company in Asia (ex-Japan) to have science-based Scope 1, 2, and 3 emission targets approved by SBTi in 2017. In 2023, the Group advanced its Net Zero ambition to 2045, with its refreshed 2030 emissions targets approved by SBTi, making it the first Asian telco to achieve this milestone. Singtel also endorsed the TCFD framework early, piloting disclosures in 2020 and publishing its first standalone TCFD report in 2022.
Previously, Andrew held diverse senior roles at Singtel across Singapore, Australia, and the Philippines, spanning IT, networks, marketing, enterprise sales, product development, strategy, venture capital, and HR. He holds a BA (First Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore and a Master’s in Management from Stanford University. A certified executive coach, Andrew sits on advisory boards for sustainability curriculums at universities in Singapore and Australia.
