Alvin Lim

CEO and Co-Founder, Climate Bridge International

Alvin Lim is the CEO and Co-founder of Climate Bridge International, where he leads the international business for Climate Bridge Group, one of China’s largest carbon finance companies. Founded in 2006, Climate Bridge oversees and finances carbon projects globally, having managed over 500 CDM, Verra, Gold Standard, and CCER projects and transacted in over 100 million tonnes of carbon credits. He was formerly the Head of Asia Environmental Products at Morgan Stanley, where he led the development of the environmental products franchise. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of the Enterprise Strategy team at GIC (Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund), where he supported GIC’s Sustainable Investing initiatives, developed frameworks to integrate sustainability practices in the investment process, and authored several white papers on the role of carbon markets for asset owners.

Alvin is a member of the Expert Advisory Group of the Voluntary Carbon Markets Integrity Initiative (VCMI) and a Senior Fellow at the National University of Singapore Centre for Governance and Sustainability. He holds a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.
